There is virtually no chance of this happening as I have never seen an actual "Cold Air" intake for a Saab. Most real "Cold Air" intakes are located in the fender well or air dam, and when you drive through any kind of standing water, they suck it up and possibly damage/destroy the engine. The cone filters that are sold for Saabs are usually just a cone filter with a heat shield and are located in the same place as the stock airbox. This is probably because Saabs are Turbos, and the intake air is going to be heated up by the turbo anyway. Most (If not all) of the Hondas you saw were normally aspirated and benefited from the cold external air. The only intakes I've seen for Saabs are at http://www.genuinesaab.com and they aren't going to suck up water. If I were you, I suggest you just buy a cone filter and make your own heat shield. This will cost you far less.
