I'm a firm believer in the V1 too, but I don't see how you can really hide it very well if you live in Virginia. Even with its remote display the detector is pretty obvious sitting on your dash or windshield. You might want to compromise performance a bit and get a true remote that mounts behind your grille. Or I recall a post a while back where someone mounted their V1 inside the center rear headrest, which I thought was a pretty cool solution.
