Saab Certified / Viggen Rotors

I bought a '99 Viggen w/ 27.5k miles on it approx 1 month ago.. It is a Saab Certified vehicle w/ the extended warranty through 100k. I know that brake rotors and pads are considered consumables, and are not covered under warranty. My question is, through the "110 point inspection, flight test, and reconditioning" would they replace worn brake rotors? The reason I ask, is my front rotors are seriously worn. I hadn't noticed until the other day when I needed to brake quickly on the highway to avoid some debris in the road. The car shuddered a bit and was quite loud. Once home, I just ran my finger along the rotors and noticed that the slots are essentially smooth. Just wanted to know what others opinions were - see if I should bother approaching the dealer I bought it from.
