I'm also 23, so I feel your pain.

To be honest, a message board is not the best place to figure out how much your insurance bill will be. There are just too many factors -- the biggest being your driving record and which state you're in. And anecdotal evidence from your boss's wife or Saabnet posters is just that... anecdotal.

The easiest thing to do is just go to some websites (insweb.com, geico.com, i21.com, etc.) and get quotes. Use a fake name and contact info if you want to avoid sales cales, but plug in your real driving record and what car you want to buy. This way you'll get accurate quotes.

That's what I did when I was car shopping a few years ago... I got a quote for each car I was considering. The results were amazing. For example, insurance for an Integra GS cost nearly DOUBLE that of a base 9-3. And the Integra was $7K less and had 45 fewer horses!
