I replaced mine with 3.5mm silicone vacuum tubing from http://www.hosetechniques.com
The 4mm hose will work OK, but the 3.5 mm hose has a thicker wall and really grips the hose nipples. No zip ties needed! It took about 10 feet of tubing to replace eveything under the hood on my 1998 900SET, if I remember correctly. I bought 15 feet just to have some extra. No need to get their special tubing cutter. A nice sharp knife or a pair of diagonal wire cutters works fine. A decent pair of needle nose pliers really helps in removing/installing the tubing.
I am running a Speedparts "Stage 2" ECU at about 16-17 PSI max boost and have not had a vacuum hose come loose yet. :)
