Where to find Speedo wire from ECU?

Hi all,
Car is a T-7, 2003 Saab 9-3 convertible...
I'm halfway through installing my navigation system, and I need to connect to the speedometer wire from the ECU, so the Nav system can determine speed when there's no GPS signal. Can anyone tell me which pin/wire coming from the ECU contains this signal?
Also, I need to tap into the reverse switch (which lights the rear lights when the car is in reverse). I'm sure I won't be so lucky as to find such a wire from the ECU, so what are my next-best options? Can I tap into anything in the shifter area, or in the wires that go back toward the reverse lights?
Thanks for any info,
Patrick
