On the SID I set the A/C setting to manual mode. I also set the fan speed to low. Each time I start the car, the fan comes on high -- it doesn't matter what the outside temp is. I have had it come on full blast when the temp is 65. ON the tech-2 option list, it specifically lists that you can set the fan speed for just this case.
I wasn't able to be there when the service guy made the tech-2 settings that I wanted done when I brought my Arc in for its 30 day checkup. He told me that this wasn't a programmable feature. I didn't have my tech-2 list with me at the time. He then said that the car 'remembers' what the fan speed was when you turn the car off and on restarting the car it will restore the fan speed to this setting. Mine simply doesn't do any of this. It comes on HIGH no matter what I do everytime I start the car.
It doesn't seem to me that this is the way is should be operating....I guess I need to take it back in at some point and have it looked at...
