How long on Mobil One?
This sounds like sticking valve lifts which could be treated with a solvent type oil addative. But the fact that is stops suggests that the lifters are taking a while to pump up. That suggests possible oil pressure problems. The oil filter should have an anti drainback valve to prevent some of this. You can see the rubber through the circle of holes in the filter baseplate.
If this is a simple case of the lifters having to pump up, then I would be careful to not put a load on the engine until things are quiet and you have a better expecation that the bearings are also getting a pressure feed of oil.
Causes of low oil pressure. A stuck oil pump pressure relief valve, which is accessable from outside the engine, or sludge from dyno or a filter with a missing or defective drain back valve. Whatever the cause, deposits might be making the lifters more noisy, but with a constant diet of M1 there should not be any sludge or deposits.
So hard to say really, but it would be a good idea to confirm that the low oil pressure light really does work. 0W50 is a bit heavy, I would suggest M1 0W40, but when cold they should both flow very well, so I cannot see that the W50 vs W40 would be a factor when starting up. Some so not like things like 0W50 as there is perhaps too much viscocity index improver.
The solvent cleaner is inexpensive and cannot do any harm if used properly. Do not use anything in the oil which does not shake like water in the can. Use for a while prior to an oil change.
