As for the CD Changer, mine does the same sometimes, although I have it pretty good now. The failure is with the connection of the wire to the CD changer input. Basically what is happenening (at least in mine) is that the cable is shifting so that only the right-side audio (think red and not white connected, or vice versa, in home AV) is making contact. My guess is that if you go to the boot and fiddle with the wire, you can get both sides to contact. I have actually had to take it out and put it back in (the plug), which we all know is a pain because there is not much room to work.
This is best done by opening the hatch and moving audio to 'full' rear. Make sure balance is in the middle. Although a couple of times I turned the balance to the one side I was 'looking' for. Turn up the volume (with a CD playing of course). Then start with the wire/connector until it is seated properly.
Please note that if you remove the cable totally, power is lost to the changer, and this is not recommended. I have done it before.
As for Tech II, someone just posted a recent list, but no one has yet to come up with the end-all, be-all, most comprehensive/complete list that I have seen.
Good luck to you! Hope this helps!
