Just got car back from 60/65K major service Friday (along with other stuff)
On Sunday, travelling on hiway for 40 mins, came to toll booth, went to push clutch and it went right to the floor. Coasted to booth, stopped. Clutch laying on floor, pulled it up by hand, straight to floor several more times but had 1" of grab, worked into 1st, left booth, pulled to shoulder.
Got enuf to do a few quick shifts and headed home, did OK for 35 miles without shifting on the hiway but hit a traffic jam. Got the car in 1st and did a one-mile flashers on run at about 10MPH on the shoulder. Went to use clutch and it worked perfectly and has ever since!!
Car is back at dealer but clutch is working fine and they are wondering about my 'complaint'.
Any help on what it may have been/might be? Return spring flakiness? Slave malfunction? Crud in fluid found it's way to somewhere?
