UPDATE & RECAP
I had my DI replaced on Friday. Saturday, i got a CEL and I then disconnectedthe battery to clear it. Might not have been the best thing to do, but in my defense I was trying to see if it was a one time thing or something more serious. After clearing it, i made several short trips with not problems, so this morning i needed to make a longer trip to help out the MIL (did not want to but.....) all seemed to go fine...drove about 55 miles..(30mi up and was almost back home) when the CEL light came on..was about 1/4 mile from my mechanic so decided to be safe and drop it off which is where it is now. Car seemed to running abotu 90% not silky smooth, but definately not rough. What made me pull off to the mechanic rather than drive the 5 miles home was i caught a wiff of something that smelled coolant-like, did not last more than a second or two...but made me pull in, is life with a saab always waiting for something to go wrong, or can I expect to one day relax and put all this behind me?
