That's what I thought.....but I had to get the car back on the road (wife's CV and autumn is coming !!) so I used new rings and old clamps. When the coolant and the core are hot the clamps easily spin on the tube !!!! Looks like I'll have to go back there before long.......long enough to find a metal substitute ???
Is this a Saab or a GM design ? If GM, what type ???
