Hopefully Nick has a better way but here is how I did it.
There are four screws and one plug that must be removed. You need a Torx driver (#25 I think). Remove the plug first. It has a red locking mechanism that must be pulled away from the plug. I used a screwdriver to break it loose. I am sure there is a better way to do this. Maybe someone else knows the trick. Two screws are on top. Remove the grill (it snaps out and in). Remove the screw that affixes the turn signal light to the headlight assembly (you can see it on the rear top part of the headlight assembly. Pull the turn signal light away from headlight assembly. You will see the fourth screw on the side of the assembly. Wriggle it out taking care to avoid the lens wiper.
Do the rest in a comfortable clean place (like the kitchen table). There are 8 clips you have to remove. Again I used a small screwdriver. These clips can be called gees clips, because when they pop loose you will say “gees where did it go!” After all clips are removed lift (or pry) the old lens from the assembly. There will be a new gasket you will need to inset. A mild adhesive may ease this process. Lay the new lens on the assembly. Compress and reapply the clips (Nick sends new ones). After the first two are clipped on opposite sides of the lens it gets pretty simple.
