Inexplicably, the documentation claims compatibility with 1994-1998 9-3 steering wheel controls. (Not only did pre-'99 Saabs not have sw controls, but '99 was the first year of the 9-3). I whinged to PAC, but got only the "sorry...new applications are being developed all the time" boilerpate. No commitment on a date.
Apparently, PAC has not yet figured out how to trigger the leads from behind the SID, as that would be the interface point b/w the sw buttons and the SWI-X.
I have this suspicion that it would work with a bit of trial and error time, so let me know if your luck is any better, as I'd still love to have this done. The lame-o credit card remote that came with my system just does not cut the mustard.
