FYI The reason the dealers have started to get upset about "Internet" information is we are seeing people coming into the dealership with a shopping list of "problems" and they are usually unable to accuratly describe the problem. This makes it seem to us like they went to a site and just wrote down everything they saw.
Example: When someone writes my personal favorite "DO all available software upgrades" and is unable to describe any problem with the car here it what what is expected. There are aprox. 20 pieces of software in the car which have been updated anywhere from 3 to 15 times since the introduction of the model. Since it takes around .3 hours to identify each program and .7 hours to change each program the expectation that we would spend hours of our own time and money(Saab will not pay unless there is a problem) to fix a problem that doesn't exist.
I am not saying that your problem isn't real, I have heard the buzz and find it annoying as well. Just understand that when you walk up to the counter there will have been a bunch of people there before you and it is hard for your service writer not to get trapped in the feeling of "here we go again".
You might want to say you called a friend of you brother who is a tech in another city and here is what he recommended. You might get a better response.
