yes, I did it DIY on the advice of this board. worked very well.
the amber plastic lens is glued at the corners. you have to remove the bulb and work thru the hole.
a long screwdriver can be used to break the initial glue spots. I then used long needle nose pliers to break the large amber reflector into small bits to withdraw thru the bulb hole. simple and brute force.
not 100% perfect, since some of the amber plastic remained attached with the glue spots. but from 5' away you cannot tell.
