the MP clamp and brace are made of steel, the KIC I believe has a billet aluminum clamp probably machined with a steel brace.

I would not be convinced that the KIC is any better but no basis for that other than theory in my head.

I understand that Chris had the Abbott VRK in the past and took from it the things he liked and made improvements on the things he didn't. I believe he is the first to address the added vibration in the steering wheel when you use a brace and clamp like these. I have no basis for comparison, other than how well this one works.
