The clips on the ends as stated are two piece affairs. You will notice a notch on the post portion of the clip that slips into the grooves on the spoiler. Make sure that the new posts are installed the same way round. also be sure to use some form of lube before you snap them down(usually a sharp rap of the hand) or you will shurly break the new clips.
If you are feeling lucky you can do what us dealer types do and pry up the end without removing any of the bolts, block it up, push the old socket into the hatch with a small screwdriver and a hammer(you have to break it to get it down), snap in the new socket, slip out old post and slip in the new, lube and slap it down, voila!
