It is odd...I mean 6000 miles, they are not " auto cross " tires, they are the P-Zero Rosso's. Pressure at 35lbs or 38lbs w/ four in the car. thing is, it was in the dealership last week for new "compound" brake pads ( it squealed like a banshee ) yet; the tech did not notice the tread wear when removing the tires. I only noticed because i had the wheels turned out last week and the whole tire was exposed. I saw the wear, and it seemed excessive ( to me anyway ). I mean, 6000 miles, if you do the math, in three years that's five pairs of tires at about $125.00 a pop ! That ain't happening, O.K. if it was a 360 Modena, maybe...., but not for a 175bhp Saab.
Thank for the response, if you think of something else Please Post It. I'll let you know what the dealer says..
