Even though my warranty covered, I was carless for two days for diagnosis (had to confirm what the customer said...) and the new unit to arrive.
And as Jeff noted, the towing was a royal pain too. On a hot July afternoon (had to break into the dealer's lot to leave the car as they were closed already) I would have handily traded the five minute swap out for over two hours spent towing.
Failure is unpredictable and with the fix being soooooo easy it is a no brainer in my book.
