Many of the engine connectors have the same lock design. You need to slide the locking piece and pull on connector at the same time. One side will have the flat piece (of the sliding piece of plastic) and the other side will have two flat pieces sticking out. YOu press on those two flat pieces to get it to unlock. Tough to describe it. Don't pull hard, just pull and shake some while pressing on unlocking piece.
