I am only in Somerville occasionally, but it could have been mine. My sister lives there and stay occasionally when work dictates that I be in NH. As with most cities, the street cleaning is ok, not great. Not sure what tires you have on the Viggen, but if they are the original Dunlops (horrible) or another Z-rated summer tire I would recommend a set of winter wheels and tires. Aside from the safety, they will save some major wear and tear on your more expensive summer tires and super-soft Viggen wheels. Charles River Sabb (http://www.crsaab.com) has a great deal on 4 16" Saab alloys (your choice) and 4 Gislaved Nordforst II snow tires - $800 (plus tax) installed. I plan on having them put on around Thanksgiving. As far as "mods", nothing to the drivetrain. I do have E-code headlight lenses and corners along with Sylvania Silverstars for both headlight and foglight . . . a huge difference over stock. Black Pearl Grill and smoked side markers as well. Mostly cosmetic stuff. As far as dealers, Chalres River Saab is great. Wigwam Saab in Providence is the USA dealer for Nordic Tuning. Great stuff, but very expensive. One of the Saabnet sponsors - Genuine Saab / Taliafero Imports - is fantastic as well.
