I have examined many photographs of the interiors of used SAABs for sale. The SAABs have been of many different model years and many different mileages. My conclusion is that cloth usually wears very well and generally holds up much better than leather.
The 2002 leather/textile seats appear to use a different cloth than in the past-- it certainly looks different and seems slippery rather than grippy. Perhaps the 2002 cloth is not of the same quality as SAAB has used in the past.
I never did understand leather/textile seats. Either the seat should be leather or it should be cloth. Leather/textile seems to be neither here nor there and appears to lack the advantages of one or the other.
