It was the DI cassette. I didn't describe it properly previously. It did "turn over", but it didn't "catch".
I called Saab Canada (really GM roadside service Canada), and was referred to Saab 24hr road side service.. took about 1 hour from the call to the tow truck arriving. It was a CAA contract tow truck, which towed my car to the dealership of my choice. I picked the one in Thornhill (7200 Yonge St). Called them at 8am (open time on Saturday), and explained it to them. The service agent agree that it probably is the DI cassette, and will try replacing it first. By the time I got there (~10am), it was fixed and the car washed. The whole thing was painless. Everything was covered under warranty.
Anyone want a new in box DI cassette? (black) I ordered one and I guess I won't be needing it for another 2 years.. $250us. (or equal in Can$) I'll drop it off anywhere between Michigan and Toronto. (along I75, and 402/401).
