In my opinion, and my wife's, stock setup is very twitchy. I recently installed MPPerf clamp and brace, and noted a significant improvement in steering behavior, but I can't say what marginal difference over an Abbott type clamp there is. I'm thinking bushings are also necessary to some degree, I'll probably do all three sets (at control arms) rather than try one set at a time, just to get it over with. Clamp/brace install is very easy, any shop should be able to do it in less than an hour, from driving you car into the shop, to pulling it back out.
Chris: I would suggest a hex-head bolt at the fire wall end of the brace, would make install easier, because of the depth at that end of the brace (unless one lacks a proper hex-head wrench). You can't get the bolt started with a long-socket, and you need an extension with a short socket, which made working clearances behind the block a little tight. Just a thought.
