suggest disconnecting the battery or moving out of the car altogether and either case putting it on a trickle charger. I store my Miata each winter this way. The danger with periodic restarts of the car to charge the battery are twofold. One, the engine internals will be dry of oil after sitting draining for a long time. This is big friction and wear on the engine which is not desireable. One wants to minimize the number of such dry starts. Second, periodic charging of a battery can in some cases damage the battery depending on the intervals. Even a disconnected battery discharges albeit more slowly. If deeply discharged, automotive batteries are permanently damaged internally. There are trickle chargers on the market which constantly sample the battery condition with integrated circuit controls and which supply charging power as needed to keep the battery fully charged for that one dry start in the spring time. [There are ways to minimize dry start damage, such as starting with no spark to first circulate oil at low RPM; I am not sure how one deals with Saab's DI for this gambit.] I and my friend who stores his Vette in the same garage have both learned the battery lessons the hard way. The Saab owner's manual even gives an estimate of how long the battery might last uncharged with all of the black current drains in a Saab, and I seem to recall that the number of weeks is not all that high.
