used it at an indie's once, works great, of course. Large Hose clamp should suffice, and maybe clip off any extra length to avoid interference as it rotates. I suppose a tie-wrap might also work. Or, you can try to pinch the stock clamp with a needle-nose, or wire cutters. It doesn't need to be that tight, or that pretty.
