This is the worst service department I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I really love my 03' SS but it has had a considerable number of problems, many I have read about in this forum (major vacuum seal for oil failed causing major oil leak, popping front struts, inability to keep the front toe in correct causing excessive tire wear). This last problem, tire wear, caused the dealership to buy me new tires with me only paying for 25% of their use. A good deal, but when my wife takes it to be done, they take all day to put the tires on the rim, and did not balance the new set up. I get it back and the steering wheel feels like it is trying to jerk itself out of my hands at 70 mph. Of course the "lovely" Saab service representative is not terribly impressed when I call in the complaint and only asks when I can bring it back in( who mounts new tires and does not perform an alignment and balance)? Not only do I get sub-par service, they always try to return the car with grease smudges on the interior. These guys are unbelievable. I had better service from a Honda dealership when I used to own a Civic. So much for being a near-luxury brand. I can not wait to take the car in Friday. I intend to light them up.
