You are bidding on a set of SAAB Red Box APC Resistors manufactured by IRC for '86-'93 SAAB 900 Turbo's and pre Direct Ignition Model SAAB 9000 Turbos ('86-'89).

Do you have a Multimeter and are you handy with a soldering gun? By replacing the R42 and R138 resistors in your APC Box with these and tweaking the pots a bit (detailed instructions are included) you will have the equivalent of the famous SAAB Red APC Box (often sold on eBay for upwards of $200! Be sure to check my other auctions, I sometimes have a completed Red Box Spec Box available) and will add as much as 20-25 HP to your stock set up. Here are a few quotes from previous sales (you're results may vary), "WOW! going to have to get used to it and hopefully not get a speeding ticket!" "She breaks loose when I step on it in 2nd! That's just what I was looking for!" There you have it. Required Resistors are 1/4 watt 500 ohm 1% tolerance (mine is a 499 ohm) and 30.9K ohm 1% tolerance, and, as you can see from the photos they are within specs. Radio Shack's resistors are 5% tolerance. A lot of people want to do this mod but these resistors are very hard to find.
