Installed JL Audio Speakers (6) in '99 Viggen

Installed the following speakers yesterday in my Viggen [TR350 (3 1/2); TR690 (6x9); and XR650-CW (6 1/2 woofer). They sound great - significant upgrade from stock, and the three sets only cost $340 (I installed them - approx. 3 hours). The TR-line is their entry line, but quite good. The XR650 woofer is one of the few dedicated mid-bass woofers on the market and is part of JL's top XR-line. The highs are the most dramatic difference. The bass is much tighter - I may have actaully lost some of the lower frequencies, but the clarity difference is worth it. Additionally, there is no more door rattle. This may be due to the fact that the new speakers are not clipping like I imagine the old ones were. Is this a knockout stereo - no. But it is a dramatic upgrade that only cost $340 + my labor, and it appears absolutely stock. If anyone with a 9-3 / Viggen is considering an upgrade I highly recommend the JL's, especially the 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 woofers (can't honestly discern much of a difference when upgrading rear speakers powered by head unit). Cheers.
