By 2002 they were all 55's.
I switched my 205/50's for 205/55's on my 96 900SET and noticed a substantial improvement in ride. Plus there's a better selection of 55's so the pricing was better. I don't think the handling was as crisp, but some of that might be because my old 50's were virtual racing slicks.
You'll have no clearance issues.
Speedo's are notoriously optimistic so the ever so slightly larger 55's will probably make your speedo more accurate.
