Cold start and idle

99 9-3SE

Now that the weather has turned cold up here in western NY my car has started giving me the classic Saab cold start troubles. I start the car let it run for a second and it might stall or it'll stall when I put it in to gear and try and move. This is easily resolved by letting it idle for a minute, but what causes this problem and how might I fix it?
Also when I'm driving and I pull up to a light or stop sign the idle goes rough. Doesn't stall, but the rpms drop low for a few seconds before the car corrects itself. Again what might be causing this?
I've recently changed the plugs and run a fuel system cleaner through it. O2 sensor perhaps. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
