Will the Nokian WR's disappoint me at all in the dry?

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE750's (215/45) on my 17" dual 3 spoke rims on my '99 9-3....a summer only tire. I used to have all seasons on my stock 15's, so I never had to deal with getting winter tires before.
Here on Long Island we don't get too much snow, but I do need to be ready if we do, and my Bridgestone's likely would go nowhere in snow. So, I'm getting Nokian WR's, 195/60 for my 15's for winter use. Seeing as they are really all-seasons that are also rated for the snow, they should perform pretty well in the dry? Or will they be very mushy? How would they compare to the Michelin MXV4's I had on the stock 15's previously? I am getting the WR's simply to be "ready" if we get any decent snow, but most likely they will be seeing much more dry pavement than snow covered pavement, which is why I ask how they will be in the dry.
Thanks,
Alex (will be sad to see the beautiful 17's come off the car, and the puny 15's put on :( )
