I bought a used set of steelies from another Saab owner. One of the steelies was bent and the tire shop balanced it this past saturday but they warn me that a shimmy might show up at higher speeds. Despite the fact the rim was mounted on the back, the steering is quite shaky at speeds > 90 km/h.
In fact I'm replacing it with a brand new rim this Saturday. Shimmies at the steering wheel and snow on the ground don't mix.
