The only things I can think of are the result of incorrectly changing over the bar. For example, if you over-torqued the bolts & they snapped while driving, or you didn't use Nylock nuts & they fell off while driving, or you installed the bar "upside-down" & damaged the brake lines, or ... y'know what I mean ?? (But I'm sure you wouldn't expect Saab to cover something damaged by a mistake you made, anyway ... right?)

Now, whether or not the dealer has any problems with it depends on your dealer. Some dealers DO operate on logic & realize when changes will/won't have an affect on things. Other dealers simply slam the lid on ANY changes from stock, even if those items were incorporated on later or higher-end models. Technically, the manufacturer has to prove that your modifications caused the problem you're trying to get warrantied. I don't know how hard Saab/GM would fight you on it.

I've experienced zero negatives with the addition to our '99 SE here in Northern Colorado. Winter driving's great with the 195/60-15s, & summer driving's astounding with the 205/50-16s.

Site sponsor Taliaferro also sells a 22mm rear sway bar. Unless you want SAS's gold-colored zinc-chromate finish for extra rust protection, Taliaferro's bar is $25 less & it's already painted black for you.
