Since you have a 9-3 I would use Eibach springs & possibly their shocks vs the B&G's or another spring company. Eibach really is the best manufacturer of springs in the world (along with H&R) however for NG900 owner they do not have that option here in the states.
I think it really depends on how you want your car to behave. You might be happy with simply adding a set of koni's to your OEM springs to firm things up a bit while not tightening the ride up to much. However for the price of a set of koni's you can almost get a set of spring/shocks from eibach.
I went with Intrax/koni on my brothers 98 set which transforms the car. It handles better then my stock viggen (I have much better tires) & he feels his car also handles better then their 2004 9-3 ss aero. The ride is a good bit stiffer then my viggen thus I am going to try a set of koni's when my springs wear out.
