I bought an autodimming rearview mirror from a Saab 9-5 at a junkyard, complete with the Homelink and compass, for less than the Saab accessory price! The mount matches the one in my Viggen, but I had to do some wiring. So far, I've determined that the red wire is power (+), the black is ground (-), and the green is the reverse light connection. The grey and blue wires (labeled +0 and -0 on the circuit board) are still a mystery. I suppose they may attach to other switched power supplies for the homelink. I don't have a garage door opener, so I can't test the homelink. For now, just the red and black wires are hooked up to the wiring for the console map lights, and the autodim and compass both work fine.
Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the 9-5 handy?
