I have to brag about the Mitty Pump and thank you for the info on it. Bought it at the Sears Hardware Store for about 30 bucks I think. I had accidentally let air in my calipers when changing my pads and rotors for the first time on my 9-3 SE. I was worried that I screwed it up and defeated the purpose of me "doing it myself". I raised the car on jack stands and went around a few times sucking a few ounces at a time checking the reservoir making sure it was always full. I eventually gave myself a complete bleed which is recommended according to a guy at the auto parts store. He said even with DOT 4 the brakes today get so hot they cook the fluid so it’s good to do every 15-20k miles. I will never forget the feeling of feeling that brake pedal solid on my new pads and coming to a complete stop. I screamed out a baseball stadium worthy YESSSSSSS!!!! in the cemetery as I broke in the pads by speeding up and braking several times on the straight-aways.

I recommend this tool to anyone who dreads this job and doesn’t have a partner to pump the pedals, which isn’t needed since you basically gravity bleeding.
