Have not had to do it on my Saab. I have an automatic.
But first make sure it is the clutch. Do a test drive and if the engine picks up speed without equivalent movement of the car then the clutch is almost sure on its last legs.
I would expect, to do the job you will need to drop the gearbox and subframe. And if the main shaft can be extracted easily from the clutch assembly and you don't have to remove the driveshafts the job can be relativelly simple with the right tools abd equipment. So I would say 4-8 hours should be acceptible.
Somebody here will know better though.
