I have made many different bars and fitted them to my Viggen among other models. Solid bars in ¾”, 7/8”, 1" and a really cool 1-1/2" lightweight tubular version. I dislike understeer and have lots of racing experience in these vehicles so I run the 1" all the time however ride suffers and for a novice it would be too much if you get into a corner too deep and jump on the brakes. The 7/8 is good balance for hardtop and the street. For those with CV worried about the little bit of added harshness from the 7/8" we developed a 3/4". The lightweight tubular bars were too expensive to manufacture.
