I have an '03 SE Convertible that I inherited from my wife. It is a fun car but as I also have a '00 9-5 Aero Sedan, it is a weekender getting less then 5000 miles a year. What to look for? No major reliability problems other than the DIC (Direct Ignition Cassette), many carry a spare, I don't. This can go anywhere from 5000 mi. to never and often gives no warning.
I don't have a problem with the interior however I will note that next to my 9-5, it rides like a truck. Fun yes but not the best ride in the world and not comparable to the new 9-3SS ride or the 9-5. If you want good handling, plan on getting a stiffer rear anti-sway bar (less understeer) and a steering rack clamp (less torque steer). I'm used to stiff riding cars from the past so I can tolerate it and if you have a 900, you know what to expect so that shouldn't be a problem for you either.
Go for it.
Brooks,
