pick your brain some more - oops we are thousands of miles apart but how does a virtual cold one sound? i feel like a 5 year old as i still wanna know why!
why does the turbo spool faster in colder weather? (what is strictly the definition of spooling anyway)
i can understand now that the " ball crack point" might be affected a bit by the back pressure from the APR leg as i thought but can be adjusted for with mbc adjustment. in essence the goal with the MBC+A is analagous to a digital switch with immediate activation of the wga when the ball crack point is reached whereas with the MBC-A it is more of an analog switch with a delay in activating the wga until pressure builds to above 6psi after the ball crack point. is that a reasonable analogy?
i am thinking of the wga activation as more of a one time event when you are accelerating and reach boost set point but is the wastegate actually
continually opening and closing. ?
thanks for sharing your expertise dean , whats the concept of a two stage mbc- the next rounds on me! john
