Soft top Damage by rear window

Has any one else had wear on the soft top near the back window from where it rubs against the fold when open?
I have a 2001 Convertable that has worn a hole thru the outside material and as its still under warranty , I was interested in any experience with this and whether SAAb covers it under warranty. Also how would it be repaired? Do they replace the whole soft top?
