As far as suspension mods go, I've added:

Steering rack clamp, MP Performance: Very noticable imporovement in the manageability of the front end when accelerating and on uneven roads

Steering Rack/Firewall brace, MP Performance: Not much of a noticeable improvement, probably since I had already installed the rack clamp separately.

Subframe Brace, MP Performance: Noticeably tighter in front end especially when acellerating hard in 3rd gear. I noticed the ride was a little rougher after the install.

Rear Anti-Sway bar, Taliaferro Saab: I originally installed the stage II bar which, I believe is about 3/4". Huge imporovement in making the car handle much more neutral, one the best upgrades besides the clamp. I later installed the stage III bar (7/8") and it felt even better.

Koni Adj Sport Shocks, Gary Moore(GM): I haven't installed the front ones yet b/c its a big pain the ***. I put the back ones on they feel great, can't wait until I get the front ones installed, probably next week at Viking Saab. I'm gonna try to get bushings too and have them installed together.

Pirelli Pzero Rosso 235/40 17 tires, TireRack: I also got 17x8" rims at the same time the extra 20mm of rubber made a huge difference in the effect in which one tire would lose traction, then the other side, then back and forth (whatever you call that). These tires also greatly improve overall traction. These tires performed well at the track, pretty sticky when warmed up, but wear very quickly in the center of the tire.

I also had the need to do a lot of these things b/c I have done some perf mods and increased power and torque, so a lot of the shortcomings of the stock setup became more of a problem. The car still does some camber steer, torque steer, and tramming when I really get on it especially on an uneven road surface.

I have had the car to a performance driving school and was a little surprised with how well it felt on the track, better than I was expecting, but I guess I was expecting the worst due to a lot negativity published and posted about the Viggen's handling characteristics and chassis limitations.

Hope this helped - good luck with the car. It is the most fun car I've ever owned.

-Steve
