The problem is in the sway bar bushings. That is why it only happens when the body is flexing or rolling, and not when you just push down on the hood.
You can try spraying some silicon in there. It will help a bit. Also, dirt and ice in the bushings makes the sound much worse, so if it's really bad, maybe go through a car wash, which will hopefully melt out the ice and clean out the dirt.
Even with that done, the first few minutes in cold weather will make noises. I've read that replacing the sway bar bushings with urethane performance bushings takes care of it permanently.
The majority of people have the noise in front, but some of us have it in the rear. It's the same thing in both cases...just a matter of which sway bar is making the noise. Track it down if it bothers you, but to me, it's only really bad when there's dirt or ice in there.
