I just installed the above tires yesterday, and so far they are amazing (after 50 miles that is...). Extremely quiet compared to the Sumitomo's I took off - the car feels like a totally different vehicle. May have a little softer sidewall since they are classified as a ultrahigh performance all season tire and not a summer tire, but I'm extremely happy I chose the Pirelli's. I went to size 225 45 17 (from 205 50 16) and I couldn't be more satisfied. I did a lot of reseach at tirerack.com, and this is the best tire in the all season ultrahigh performance group. The new wheels are Fondmetal A9 purchased dirt-cheap on eBay three weeks ago. http://www.fondmetal.com/inglese/enghome.html (look at products, classic line, and all the way at the end of the list.) They look great on the car!
