little different from the transmitter. I actually just did the installation this weekend (got an mp3 player for christmas).

What I did:
bought a kenwood FM modulator, hooks up through the antennae plug. Mind you, you'll need to get the plug adaptors, as the europeans have a different plug than the standard american.
The FM modulator comes with a switch, which when switched on, it takes over a radio signal. The box is set to a station (its not sent as a radio signal, instead, it is wired into the system)
The switch is for power, which you can wire into the power outlet on the dash (very easy)
The modulator with the plug adaptors cost about $46.
For a nice look, I drilled out a hole in one of the blank buttons next to the seat heater buttons, and inserted the switch there. My next step is to pull the plug for the ipod out the side and have it go to the phone cradle I got from Verizon, which will be mounted next to the air controls.

I'll post a picture when I have it all put together, but for now, I just have the plug coming out of a bland button spot, listened from Burlington, VT to Boston this morning. Never an interruption, and nice clear sound!

I'm really happy how clean the switch looks, and looking forward to hours upon hours in the car listening to my whole music collection, as soon as I find the time to rip all my CD's.

One thing about the parts. Look for a custom car audio shop to get the parts, as Circuit City, Best Buy and Radio Shack didn't have what I was looking for.
Post with more questions, and i can go into more detail if needed.
