Toyo Proxes 4 or Pirelli PZero Nero M+S for Viggen

I need new tires on my '01 Viggen coupe and I've narrowed it down to the Toyo Proxes 4 and the PZero Nero M+S. I've got 17" Mille Miglia EV-S rims (17x8) so I'm probably going to go with 225/45 17s. I'm looking for a reason to buy one over the other. I'm a spirited driver (how can you not be with a Viggen) but I do not race or anything like that.
I do need a tire with somewhat of an all season traction rating because I live in Indy where it snows from time to time and the roads are filled with potholes in the winter/spring. I'm also looking for something that will hopefully last a little longer than the Yoko AVS EVS100s that I've burned through in only 15k. The Toyos are cheaper, but I'm afraid of getting substandard tire (like the yokos). I have no problem spending the money on a good tire that will last a little longer. Thanks for the help.
