This sounds sorta opposite from another recent post...
When you turn the engine off, the radio's supposed to stay on until you take the key OUT of the cylinder. The cylinder pops up slightly, so that circuit/switch isn't about twisting the key, it's about the cylinder moving in & out.
If it responds to jiggling the key, or especially pushing the key down into the console, then I'd guess the switch is getting flaky.
