Tread wear looks to high for my comfort level as far as wet/dry traction goes. I used to use 140's, but those are not found very often now. For my heavier 9-5 Aero Wagon, perhaps 140's would be a poor choice. But my miles from soft tires (95SET) has been very good for me. I do know that some folks are very hard on tires (and brakes). So no simple or universal answers.
A harder tire that does not grip and had wheel spin with your high torque will wear faster than a stickier tire that does not have wheel spin. So that might be counter intuative for some. And the stickier tire will also provide the safety factor of shorter stopping distances, as well as better cornering aka accident avoidance.
